DESCRIPTION:
Scales down or resizes large embeded images so as to avoid the page running over.

FEATURES:
- Customizable from settings page.
- Pretty much every element of the plugin can be customized from the settings.
- Automatically adjusts according to screen size for fluid layouts.
- Fixed width option for fixed layouts
- Scaling is done on client side through javascript hence no extra load on the site's servers
- Works in the showthread, newreply, editpost, portal, moderation and private message pages
- Resizes only those images in posts and not the headers and other images
- Automatically adds a imgnoresize mycode which can be used to post images that you do not want to

be resized

INSTALL:
- Unzip/Unrar, upload inc/plugins/fitonpage.php, jscripts/fitonpage.js and
inc/languages/english/fitonpage.lang.php to the respective directories on the server
- If you have any other language packs besides the default, upload those as well.
- Activate the plugin from the Admin Panel, Plugins section
- Setup options from settings page.

UPDATE:
- Deactivate old plugin
- Upload the newer version files, overwriting the older ones (If you're not allowed to overwrite, delete the old files first
- Activate the plugin making sure it shows the new version number
- Setup your options from the settings page

UNINSTALL:
- Deactivate from the plugins page

Leider komme ich wegen meiner Fragestellung beim Autor des Plugins nicht weiter und hoffe, dass sich hier evtl. jemand findet, der mich unterstützen kann.

Das Plugin öffnet über die Javascript Fkt.

ein neues Browserfenster, in dem dann das Bild angezeigt wird. Stattdessen würde ich das Bild aber gerne mittels Shadowbox in der Originalgröße anzeigen. Nur das Wie, das bereitet mir derzeit ein unlösbares Problem....

Ich nutze zum automatischen anpassen der Bildergrößen das Plugin Fit on Page. Das hat bisher auch ohne Probleme funktioniert, seitdem ich im Portal nun aber das Google+ Plugin entfernt habe macht es Probleme.

Und zwar haben die Boxen auf der linken Seite des Portals während dem laden eine Breite von unter 200px, erst wenn alles geladen ist und Fit on Page die Bilder verkleinert hat, werden die Boxen wieder 200px groß. Das sorgt für einen sehr unruhigen Seitenaufbau. Wirklich nachvollziehen kann ich das aber nicht, vielleicht kann mir jemand sagen woran das liegt?

Erst müssen die Bilder ja geladen werden, bevor sie verkleinert werden können.

Ja das ist mir klar, mir geht es eher darum dass dadurch die Boxen auf der linken Portalseite "verdrängt" werden.

Wobei das vielleicht doch nicht wirklich etwas mit dem Plugin zu tun hat.

habe Fit on Page heruntergeladen und die Dateien hochgeladen. Wenn ich jetzt das Plugin im ACP aktivieren will, bekomme ich eine Datenbankfehlermeldung. Woran liegt das?

Fehlermeldung:

Ja, viele Plugins funktionieren nur mit MySQL.

Ich weiß nicht ob das hier her passt. Aber wie schaffe ich es das Forum von der Postgre auf MySQL umzustellen? Geht das irgendwie? Alles sicher, die Postgre in eine MySQL importieren und dann läuft das Forum wieder?

Problem gelöst. Forum ist erst im Aufbau. Gelöscht und mit MySQL neu installiert.
