The status update includes a URL to the thread, which may or may not be in Bit.ly format, depending on length (Twitter shortens the URL automatically if needed).

The plugin will also apply a limited number of hashtags that match keywords you specify. Hashtags are optional.

The index page can also indicate which forums are sent to Twitter if an icon image is specified in the ACP.

Compatible with RSS2Post and similar feed readers that post to your forums.

This plugin supports the new Twitter integration using oAuth via a third party set of classes.
