Ist mir erst bei der 1.4.4 aufgefallen:
In den Foreneinstellungen gibt es einen Punkt "Banning Options" mit Null Optionen.

Kann ich nicht bestätigen: Bei mir existiert eine solche Gruppe nicht. (1.4.4, upgraded from 1.4.2)
Hattest du eventuell ein Plugin aktiviert, was beim Deaktivieren nicht ordentlich aufgeräumt hat?

Die Einstellungsgruppe stammt noch aus MyBB 1.2.x und ist inzwischen überflüssig. Normalerweise wird sie auch vom Upgradeskript gelöscht. Du kannst sie auch manuell aus der Datenbanktabelle settinggroups löschen.
