Hi Jungs,
ich hab die MyBB-Version vom blueimp Ajax-Chat 0.8.3 geladen, welchen ich gerne als Shoutbox nutzen möchte.
Ich bin nach dieser Anleitung vorgegangen und alles hat auch geklappt. Nur das die Shoutbox im Forum und nicht im Portal war.
Ich möchte, dass die Box diese Größe hat und auf der rechten Seite des Portals ist:

Da ich absoluter Neuling bin, würde ich mich über detailierte Hilfe sehr freuen.

Hallo,
ohne es getestet zu haben würde ich vermuten, dass Du die Änderungen gemäß des oben verlinkten Beitrages nicht in der index.php sondern in der portal.php durchführen musst. Die notwendige Templateänderung führst Du dann auch im Template portal statt index durch.
Was die Anpassung (Breite) der Tabelle angeht: hier sind HTML Kenntnisse notwendig (siehe z.b. hier).

Ich meine damit, dass ich die Datei Portal-Seite (unter header) eingearbeitet habe und die seite nun überhaupt nicht mehr geladen wird. (Der Bildschirm bleibt weiß)

Ja, habe ich, aber irgendetwas mache ich falsch.
Es klappt ja nichtmal wenn ich es ersteinmal "nur so" probiere:

Es kommt nur eine weiße Seite und das Portal lädt erst garnicht.
Error ist der folgende:
